Company

OSA International, Inc., an entertainment production company with two regional offices in the United States, has an opening for a Warehouse and Inventory Control Assistant in the Las Vegas office.

This position is a full time salary employee with benefits including medical/dental insurance, disability insurance, 401K plans, vacation/sick pay and more. This position will report directly to the Warehouse Manager and indirectly to the company Global Inventory Manager.

Position

Assist in management of local inventory and maintenance of equipment; Order fullfillment and preparation; Assist in management of warehouse staff and drivers in an efficient manner; Coordinate all equipment needs for events with Warehouse Manager and show staff; Demonstrate excellent communication skills; CDL license required; Class B minimum, Class A preferred.

Skills Required

  • Assist with control and maintenance of local physical inventory and the warehouse space.
  • Assist in fulfilment of all inventory orders, including pull from storage, prep, check out, check in and return to storage.
  • Assist in coordinating and tracking inventory changes due to new, broken or missing equipment.
  • Assist with coordination of the most efficient use of local inventory in conjunction with the Warehouse Manager. This process can include forecasting, purchasing recommendations, substitutions, re-rental needs and overbooking situations for all equipment.
  • Assist Warehouse and Global Inventory Managers in ensuring that inventory control database remains current from local inventory perspective. This process includes additions, new purchases, removal of retired or missing items and equipment temporarily assigned to other locations (i.e. other branches of company, tours or repair shops).
  • Assist with all truck loading/ unloading and completion of trucking paperwork.
  • Labeling and bar-coding of all equipment.
  • Excellent communication and correspondence between Warehouse Manager and Global Inventory Manager.
  • Assist in keeping an up to date inventory of all shop consumables. Inform Warehouse Manager before consumable items begin to run low.
  • Assist with local Physical inventories on a quarterly basis.
  • Assist with scheduling of shop activities and labor.
  • Supervision of assigned warehouse staff. Must assist with assignment of daily tasks, deliveries, shipments and pick-ups for all warehouse staff.
  • Demonstrate good Industrial/ Warehouse Hygiene
  • Quality Control. All equipment sent out is in good working condition and with the correct number of components.
  • Assist with all shipping and receiving. Establish relationships with dependable logistics companies to ensure safe and efficient movement of equipment.
  • This position is not always a 8:30A – 5:30P position. The Individual in this position must be willing to finish the project at hand and not put off their duties. Our Industry is very last minute and it is the responsibility of the warehouse staff to be prepared for changes and additional projects at all times.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication abilities with senior management, show personnel and assigned staff on a daily basis.
  • Proficient with computers (Windows based network) and standard office applications i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Must have working knowledge of inventory control software and be willing to accept training in R2.
  • Ability to work well with other staff and clients.
  • Willingness to accept training, work efficiently and do what is required to complete the job in a timely manner
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds on a regular basis.
  • CDL Class A license (preferred) or CDL Class B (minimum)
